Chic, Hip, Cool, Buzzy, Charming and Cosmopolitan – that’s London Bridge for you.
A fusion of food, culture, history, shopping and nightlife, as well as a central transport hub for London and beyond. And it’s still one of the most affordable places in London to rent.

Transport: London Bridge is perfectly placed just south of the Thames and centrally within zone 1. Both Northern Line and Waterloo underground lines gives access from all points of the compass within London. The train station connects the south coast of England with the English midlands while stopping at many stations in and near central London. There is also a major bus station with bus routes that radiate towards all London destinations both sides of the river. There is a well networked service of public bicycles, electric-bikes and electric-scooters. Many roads in the area have dedicated and secure bicycle lanes. Or just walk along the pedestrian way next to the Thames right into central London - delightful.

Eating & Drinking: The historic and world renowned Borough Food Market is a fusion of European and British food and drink stalls - from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland to France, Italy, Spain, Germany and much more. There are many varieties of food stalls where you can “wander while eating” wonderfully exotic foods while soaking up the buzzy atmosphere. Outside the market there are a range of new and old restaurants to accommodate all tastes and budgets, as well as catering for vegan and vegetarian requirements. At Vinopolis you can learn about the history of vineyards and wine imports as well as sampling their range. There is no shortage of bars and night-time venues immediately within the area - it’s all newly re-developed and it’s all here.

Shopping: Fantastic Borough Market where you can nibble on wonderful foods from olives to cheeses and cuisine from all corners of the world. Bermondsey Street with its large array of independent shops, bars and restaurants and many establishments along the river Thames.

Attractions: London Bridge played an important role in the growth and development of medieval London right up to modern day. With its location inside the mouth of the Thames, you can visit a full-sized replica of "The Golden Hinde" - upon which Sir Francis Drake circumnavigated the world - in dry dock. Or board and explore the HMS Belfast battleship. Visit the infamous "Clink" dungeon and jail on Clink Street. How about a view from the top of the "Shard" skyscraper? The Tate Modern is just around the corner as is the London Eye. Nearby are the Tower Of London and Tower Bridge. The South Bank, The Fashion and Textile Museum, White Cube, The National Theatre and The Globe Theatre are just a sample of some activities found in and around the London Bridge area.
